This is not something you have to follow.
This is not something you have to complete.
Nothing is required of you here.

Nervous System Safety: Core Listening is a collection of sound created to support moments when your body needs space more than instruction.

These tracks are not designed to guide you, fix you, or move you anywhere.

They are here to remain with you.

Inside this listening experience:

You Are Still Here — a quiet acknowledgment of survival, without pressure to feel anything about it
Sound Remains — steady presence when everything else feels uncertain
Presence Without Demand — sound that does not ask your body to change
Safe Enough to Rest — an offering of gentle support, without the expectation of sleep or relaxation
Peripheral Listening — allowing sound to exist at the edges of awareness, where your nervous system can choose its own distance

This work is rooted in a trauma-informed approach to sound:

You are allowed to listen or not listen.
You are allowed to turn this off at any time.
You are allowed to move, step away, or do something else entirely while it plays.

There is no outcome you need to reach.

This is not therapy.
This is not performance-based meditation.

This is sound as presence.
Sound without demand.
Listening first.

If your system has been overwhelmed, overstimulated, or asked to do too much for too long—this space exists so you do not have to do anything at all.

Let the sound meet you where you are.
Or let it pass by.

Either way, you are still here.

The opening moments of this episode include a short excerpt from Regulation Before Release.

This excerpt is offered as orientation and stabilization before the main content begins. It is not an exercise and does not ask the listener to relax, process, or change anything. The sound is shared as structure—something steady that can be present while the nervous system settles at its own pace.

The opening minutes of this episode feature an excerpt from Nothing Is Required of You, a listening piece that anchors the tone and ethics of this podcast.

This excerpt is offered as orientation—not instruction. There is no exercise to follow, no breath to control, and no expectation to relax, heal, or change. The sound is shared as presence—something that can be nearby without asking anything of the listener.

This is something you need to follow you to go. You are allowed to do that. You are allowed to do that. You are always enjoying the following without expectation. There is no right way to receive this. You do not have to allow it. You do not have to feel called You do not have to go deeper. You are allowed to simply exist. If it does not, you have not done anything wrong. This is not therapy. This is not a performance. This is a space where nothing is required of you. A space where sound does not ask anything in return. You are still here. And that is enough. The sound is beginning to fade. Or maybe it has already faded. And you may notice that something in your space is different. Or you may notice that nothing feels different at all. Both are completely okay. There is nothing you need to hold on to from this experience. There is nothing you need to take with you. If something settled, it is allowed to settle. If something stayed active, it is allowed to remain as it is. You do not need to make meaning out of what just happened. You do not need to name it. You do not need to understand it. Your body has already taken what it needed or chosen not to. Both are valid. If you feel a shift, even a small one, you can let that exist without trying to expand it. If you feel no shift at all, you've not missed anything. Nothing was required of you here. As you move into whatever comes next, you are allowed to go at your own pace. There's no need to rush. You can stay where you are for a moment. Or you can get up right away. You can return to your day or take more time. You are still in choice. The sound may be gone, but it does not need to be carried. You do not have to recreate the space. You do not have to come back to this feeling. What matters is that you were here. In whatever way you were able to be, you are still here. And that is enough.
